J L Edwards Memorial Fundraiser

The choir appeared at the William Brookes School, Much Wenlock on Saturday 17th November 2012 in an evening of entertainment, sharing the stage with Performing Arts Students to raise funds for the J L Edwards Memorial Trust. During the concert, which was sponsored by Barclays Bank, the audience were treated to dance and solo performances presented by the students, who joined with the choir for ‘Blues in B Flat’, ‘Sing Love’ and a combined drama and song piece ‘Diggers’ to round off the show.
Several hundred pounds was raised for the J L Edwards Trust, which commemorates a former Headmaster Jack Edwards and provides funding for students to specialise and develop abilities in activities such as the performing arts.
