Rock House Celebration

The Rock House Inn at Farley Dingle, Much Wenlock was officially re-opened on Thursday 26th September by the town Mayor, Milner Whiteman in the presence of the choir and invited guests. The choir, led by David Fisher, sang ‘Another Opening, Another Show” as the Mayor cut the tape, to the applause of all present, drinks were served as the choir performed a number of songs in celebration of the occasion.
The choir last appeared at the Rock House more than 20 years ago and the owners John and June Gittings have carried out an extensive programme of restoration and refurbishment. The restaurant offers a full lunchtime and evening Menu and traditional Sunday Lunches. Its re-opening is welcome news for Much Wenlock and the wider community, providing a boost to the local economy. Longer term plans for the Rock House include the development of a ‘Micro Brewery’.
