The choir appeared in concert with Random Brass on Saturday evening (17th May) at Wellington Methodist Church for the Mayor of Telford Leon Murrays charity fundraiser. The event was well attended and raised much needed funds for Wellington Cottage Care and Telfords Severn Hospice.
After the concert the event organiser Barbara Murray commented “Thank you so much for the wonderful concert….after expenses we raised £426 which was a wonderful result.” The Mayors charity fund has raised an estimated £15000 for charitable causes over the last year.
