Music in the Grove

The choir appeared at The Grove School in Market Drayton on Saturday 13th October together with Shrewsbury Light Orchestra and the Fauls Singers in a charity concert sponsored by Barclays Bank for Greenfields Africa. Alan Birchall, a former George Mitchell singer and Black & White Minstrel, hosted the evening and the packed hall was treated to a true variety of entertainment that raised an estimated £1700 – for more about the work of this charity visit their website www.greenfieldafrica.org
