The choirs trip to Kent last month proved a big hit, with audiences and patrons enjoying two very special evenings, one in Dover on 2nd October when the choir joined forces with the Snowdown Colliery MVC and Revelation Strings and the other in Canterbury city centre the following evening when the choir shared the stage with Snowdown in a memorable joint concert.
The trip included a visit to Whitstable, a seaside town famous for its oysters, while the stay at the Hilton Hotel in Canterbury gave choristers and patrons the opportunity to enjoy views of the city from it’s rooftop restaurant and explore the nearby Cathedral and its precinct. The choir would like to thank all those involved in organising the visit, not least our hosts the Snowdown choir for their work, including provision of refreshments and for their camaraderie and friendship throughout.

The choirs return to Shropshire has seen a concert at the Priory Hall yesterday (3rd November) for Carer Connect, a very worthy cause for those supporting and affected by Dementia; rehearsals are ongoing for an appearance at Wenlock Xmas Fayre on 5th December and our Xmas Concert which is being held this year at Priory Hall on Sunday 13th December in a change from the usual venue.
